Nordic Center

The Nordic center at Turpin Meadow Ranch is one of Jackson Hole’s premiere destinations in the winter, with over 20km of trail groomed daily and originally designed by two former Nordic Olympians Hans and Nancy Johnstone. The terrain at Turpin Meadow Ranch has something for everyone offering flat ski trails in the meadow along the banks of the Buffalo River to heart pumping hills as you climb out of the valley and into the surrounding mountains. The historic lodge sits in the middle of the Nordic center and offers delicious food and drink to fuel your adventure. We proudly offer Fischer skis for rent, daily cross country ski lessons in both skate and classic and snowshoe tours. Come for the day or stay a while because the ski trails are groomed right to our cozy cabins. Trails are open to the public, snowshoers, fat bikers, and dogs are welcome.

Our Nordic Ski Lessons offer the opportunity to learn and enjoy cross country skiing in the beautiful Buffalo Valley. Our groomed Nordic trails are made up of 7 connected loops, all centering around the core of the Ranch, on the edge of the Buffalo Fork Creek in northern Jackson Hole/west side of Togwotee Pass.
