Nordic Center
The Nordic center at Turpin Meadow Ranch is one of Jackson Hole’s premiere destinations in the winter, with over 20km of trail groomed daily and originally designed by two former Nordic Olympians Hans and Nancy Johnstone. The terrain at Turpin Meadow Ranch has something for everyone offering flat ski trails in the meadow along the banks of the Buffalo River to heart pumping hills as you climb out of the valley and into the surrounding mountains. The historic lodge sits in the middle of the Nordic center and offers delicious food and drink to fuel your adventure. We proudly offer Fischer skis for rent, daily cross country ski lessons in both skate and classic and snowshoe tours. Come for the day or stay a while because the ski trails are groomed right to our cozy cabins. Trails are open to the public, snowshoers, fat bikers, and dogs are welcome.

Trail passes are required for any use of our groomed trails: skiing, snowshoeing, and/or fat-tire biking

Rentals are available to rent in-person at the front desk on a first come, first serve basis.
NEED A LESSON?
Our Nordic Ski Lessons offer the opportunity to learn and enjoy cross country skiing in the beautiful Buffalo Valley. Our Nordic Ski instructors are PSIA certified and have years of experience. Best for total beginners looking to learn the sport or intermediate skiiers looking for a refresh!
Classic & Skate lessons available.
DETAILS
Lessons are 2 hours and take place at Turpin Meadow Ranch. Private or group lessons are available in both skate and classic formats. Shuttle Packages are available from Teton Village and Jackson.
Includes: Skis and poles and day trail pass.

Dress warm and in layers. We recommend wool or synthetic base layers and waterproof outer layers.
