- “When are you open for the season?”
- We are open for our summer season June 11th – September 28th 2026.
- We are open for our winter 2026-2027 season December 18th 2026 – March 14th 2027.
- “Are you all-inclusive?”
- All activities and dining are a la carte. Breakfast is the only item included in your stay.
- “Are activities open to those not staying in the cabins?”
- Yes! Our activities and restaurant are both open to the public!
SUMMER DRIVING DIRECTIONS
- Continue on US 26-E 3 miles past Moran Junction. Take a LEFT onto the Buffalo Valley Road. Continue 10 miles. You will come to the Ranch when the road starts to climb back into the mountains. This is a two lane paved road.
- Continue on US 26-E 13 miles past Moran Junction. Take a LEFT onto Turpin Meadow Ranch Road. Continue 4.3 miles. You will come to the Ranch when the Valley begins to open up. This is a gravel Forest Service road.
WINTER DRIVING DIRECTIONS
- Continue on US 26-E 3 miles past Moran Junction. Take a LEFT onto the Buffalo Valley Rd. Continue 10 miles. The plowed road ends at Turpin Meadow Ranch. This is the ONLY way to reach the ranch by car in winter.

LOCATION
Are you located in Jackson Hole?
Yes. The valley surrounding the town of Jackson is considered Jackson Hole. So even though we are one hour from the town of Jackson, we are still in Jackson Hole.
How far is the Jackson Hole Airport?
45 Minutes
Do you offer airport transfers?
Unfortunately, we do not offer airport transportation. We always recommend guests rent a car during their visits. If that is not an option, Old West Transportation provides taxi service to the ranch and it can be scheduled by calling them at 307-690-8898.
How far are you from Salt Lake City International Airport?
5 to 6 hours
How far are you from Yellowstone National Park?
We are one hour from the South entrance of Yellowstone National Park.
How far is Grand Teton National Park?
We are located 25 minutes the entrance of Grand Teton National Park. We have an incredible view of the Teton Range from the ranch.
What river are you located on?
The Buffalo Fork
ACTIVITIES
Do we need to book activities in advance?
Yes, we strongly encourage you to book activities a month in advance. This will give you the best chance to get the activities you want, when you want. The best way to book your activities is to call the front desk where our concierge service will help create the ideal itinerary of adventures.
Do you have rafting or tubing at your ranch?
We do not offer rafting or tubing on property and we don’t suggest tubing the Buffalo Fork. Whitewater rafting is located in the town of Jackson and the closest scenic float is 40 minutes from the ranch.
Do you offer drift boat fly fishing trips?
We do not offer drift boat fly fishing at this time, only walk & wade fly fishing.
Where can I purchase a fishing license?
Wyoming fishing licenses can be purchased at any local angler store in Downtown Jackson or online at Wyoming Game and Fish’s website. Follow the link here.
Do you offer any week long, all-inclusive packages?
Unfortunately, week long all-inclusive packages are not available at this time.
LODGING
Do your rooms have kitchenettes?
Our rooms have a Keurig coffee machine and mini fridge, but no kitchenette and no microwaves.
How far is the lodge from the cabins?
We have eight cabins on property and two chalet buildings. The chalet buildings are 200 yards from the lodge. The closest cabin is 25 yards from the lodge while the furthest cabin is 150 yards away.
Do you have rollaway beds or cots?
We do not have additional beds to add to our rooms. Our single-room cabins sleep two. The two-room cabins can accommodate four people. The King chalet sleeps two people, while the Queen plus lofts chalet can handle six – eight guests.
Do you provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash?
Yes, to all three.
Do you have ironing boards in the room?
No, but we are happy to bring one to your room if needed.
Are your rates on the website all inclusive?
No. Our rates are per night and includes a hot buffet breakfast. All other meals and activities are a la carte. Buy-out events and wilderness pack trips can be made all inclusive. Please call the front desk for information.
Do you have rooms in the lodge?
No, we have eight cabins and six chalets that are walking distance to the main lodge.
DINING
Do you accommodate gluten free, vegan and other food allergies?
Yes. Please call the front desk prior to arriving so we can make sure the kitchen is aware and we can be prepared.
Do you offer take-out?
Yes! Overnight guests may order food to-go or take out from any of our menu offerings and may dine in your rooms. Day guests may order take out from our lunch and dinner menus to eat outside by the fire or under propane heaters or to take home.
