Sunset Wildlife Tour 9/1/24 – 9/29/24

This guided tour is specifically designed to showcase the park’s abundant wildlife against the backdrop of a breathtaking sunset, providing a unique opportunity for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike. The tour typically begins in the late afternoon, allowing ample time to explore the park and encounter its diverse wildlife. Your knowledgeable and experienced guide will lead you through strategic locations within the park, chosen for their high probability of wildlife sightings. Teton National Park is renowned for its remarkable array of wildlife species, including majestic creatures such as elk, bison, moose, wolves, black bears, grizzly bears, coyotes, and various bird species. As you traverse the park your guide will provide insightful commentary about the park’s ecosystem, the behaviors of its resident animals, and the conservation efforts undertaken to protect this precious natural habitat. They will share fascinating facts about the wildlife you encounter, their habits, and the interconnectedness of the park’s flora and fauna.

This tour leaves Turpin Meadow Ranch at 4pm and returns at 8pm. This tour is a driving and walking tour – there will be many stops along the way and walking up to ½ a mile at a time.

INCLUDES

Park admission, snacks and beverages, use of binoculars, spotting scope and bear spray. On the go dinner can be purchased upon request.

THINGS TO KNOW

Offered September 1st -September 29th 2024.

Bring layers , have a rain or wind jacket, comfortable walking/hiking shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and bug spray. Dinner reservations are available upon returning to Turpin Meadow Ranch- please let us know if you intend to dine with us.
