Embark on an unforgettable journey into the heart of Grand Teton National Park with our Sunrise Wildlife Tour. As the first rays of dawn cast a golden glow upon the rugged peaks and pristine landscapes, immerse yourself in the magic of this untamed wilderness. The early morning hours provide an excellent opportunity to observe Teton’s diverse fauna as they begin their day. Keep your eyes peeled for herds of graceful elk grazing in the meadows, their antlers adorned with velvet. Majestic moose might make an appearance, wading through shimmering ponds and wetlands. Watch as agile pronghorn gracefully sprint across the plains, their incredible speed a testament to their survival instincts.You might be lucky enough to encounter a family of playful river otters frolicking in the water, or spot a coyote stealthily navigating the terrain. Keep your binoculars ready for the awe-inspiring sight of a soaring bald eagle or the elusive great gray owl silently gliding through the forest. Throughout the tour, our knowledgeable guides will share their expertise and insights, providing you with a deeper understanding of the park’s ecosystem, geology, and the remarkable behaviors of its resident wildlife.

This tour will leave Turpin Meadow Ranch at 6am and return at 10am. This tour is a driving and walking tour – there will be many stops along the way and walking up to ½ a mile at a time.

Park admission, On the go breakfast, snacks and beverages, use of binoculars, spotting scope and bear spray.

THINGS TO KNOW

Bring layers , have a rain or wind jacket, comfortable walking/hiking shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and bug spray. Lunch reservations are available upon returning to Turpin Meadow Ranch – please let us know if you intend to dine with us.
